AREA OF EXPERTISE Jon Tesser has joined the Colliers International Princeton, New Jersey office as an Executive Managing Director where his primary focus will be brokerage services for clients in the sale and leasing of industrial real estate in the Northern and Central New Jersey markets. Mr. Tesser has over 27 years of experience assisting clients in a multitude of varied transactions, including the sales and leasing of industrial properties, development consultation, market analysis, and both landlord and tenant representation. BUSINESS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND Mr. Tesser originally joined Colliers International over 22 years ago where he completed more than 50 million square feet of office and industrial leasing and sales transactions, earning the title of Top Producer for 7 consecutive years. Mr. Tesser has represented several notable companies, including Johnson & Johnson, Staples, Sports Authority, Bristol Myers Squibb and BASF. Mr. Tesser has completed some of the largest industrial transactions in the state including, representing Johnson & Johnson Personal products in the sale of 767,000 square feet to Silverline Windows, The sale of 818,000 Square feet to Sanmar, and the lease of 600,000 square feet to Synnex Corporation. After leaving Colliers, Mr. Tesser joined Jones Lang LaSalle as a Senior Vice President before rejoining Colliers International in March 2014. Mr. Tesser graduated from the University of Hartford where he earned a BA in Mass Communication. He is a member of SIOR, where he received an award for the largest cooperative transaction in 2010 and 2011. Mr. Tesser is a member of NAIOP and is currently Treasurer of IOREBA. Mr. Tesser has earned the CoStar Power Broker Award in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.
