Joshua Adler is a principal of Adler Development, a full-service real estate development firm serving tenants in the Central and Northern New Jersey warehouse, flex, and office markets. The Edison, NJ-based company’s combined holdings include nearly two million square feet of warehouse, flex and office space and nearly 800 apartment units. Adler Development’s portfolio is concentrated in Central New Jersey and extends from Bergen to Burlington Counties.

Joshua joined the company after earning his B.A. in 1996. Under his leadership, this second-generation-run company has grown its portfolio from just 350,000 sf in 1995 to nearly 2 million square feet today.

Joshua has also been instrumental in initiating and leading Adler Development’s efforts to develop sustainable real estate through brownfield development, and the firm currently has three projects in the process of obtaining LEEDS certification.

A member of Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association and the Material Handling Society of New Jersey, Joshua is also an active member of both the national and New Jersey Chapter of NAIOP and currently serves on the board of trustees and co-chairs the Developing Leaders Section for NAIOP’s New Jersey Chapter. He also chairs the National Industrial Development I Forum and is a member of the Industry Trends Task Force for NAIOP on a national level.

Joshua earned an M.S. in real estate development from New York University, and a B.A. in economics from Connecticut College.
