In October of 2001 John G. Udell was appointed President of Weichert Commercial Brokerage, Inc. and continues to oversee Weichert New Homes. In 1995 Mr. Udell merged Metland Properties Group Inc. with Weichert New Homes and Land Co., Inc. As President, he expanded this company to provide New Homes and Land Sales and Management into eight states.

Mr. Udell has been active in professional organizations within the real estate industry. He has been in real estate his entire career, which began in 1978. He became a broker in 1981. He is a Life Director of the Community Builders Association and Past Member of The Committee on the Highlands/Skylands. He is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), National Association of Home Builders (NAHB); New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA); Community Builders Association of New Jersey (CBA); North Central Jersey Association of Realtors; National Association of Realtors (NAR); a New Jersey Registered Builder and Vice Chairman of the Chester Township Zoning Board of Adjustment. In 1998 he was inducted into the Johnson State College Athletic Hall of Fame and in 2006 he received the Outstanding Alumni Award. Udell is the recipient of the 2004 Founders Award from the Community Builders Association.

Mr. Udell was raised in a family active in real estate, land development, brokerage and building. Mr. Udell resides in Chester, New Jersey, with his wife, Marlene and his daughters Natalie and Aubree.
