Mr. Logan is the original conceptualist in creating The Aztec Corporation along with the other four founders David Fournier, Dorothy Zarnik, Kurt Kalafsky and Barbara Burke. After 23 years of practical experience in base building architecture, large scale city planning and corporate office interiors, he assembled a highly professional team of talented partners and skilled business consultants. Mr. Logan holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute. He also studied at New York University, receiving both the Intensified Real Estate Certificate and a Degree in Real Estate Appraisal and Financial Analysis. He further broadened his studies in a dual Masters Program at Pratt Institute in a Masters of Science in City and Urban Planning Program and at Pace University in a Masters of Business Administration Program with a concentration in Finance and Marketing. As a registered architect in multiple states, including New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Mr. Logan has overall responsibility as President/Chief Executive Officer for The Aztec Corporation and Aztec Architects, LLC. He is specifically involved in the business development, administrative and operational policy and procedures. Prior to creating The Aztec Corporation he was the Executive Vice President/Director of Planning Division of a New Jersey based Corporate Interiors Firm where he managed up to twenty-five professionals in the successful planning and design of over four million square feet of corporate office interiors annually. Prior to 1985, he was Vice President involved in business development in a New York City international interior design firm with an emphasis on corporate interior design. In 1981 Mr. Logan was involved in large scale planning and design of corporate office buildings, laboratories and hospitals as a Senior Project Designer for a New York City international architectural design firm. While on the international design team, he was directly involved in the prize winning international design competition for the Baghdad Medical Library. Mr. Logan’s experience also covers schematic design, design development, contract documents and construction documentation coordination of large-scale base building, corporate, cultural and governmental architecture for the international and nationally renowned architectural design firm of Harrison & Abramovitz for nine years. He was a member of their project team for the Empire State Plaza (Albany Mall), 6th Avenue Rockefeller Center, Exxon, Celenese & McGraw Hill Building, expansion of the United Nations, Nationwide Plaza, Fountain Square South, Owens Illinois and others. He is also an active member of the (AIA) American Institute of Architects, (IFMA) International Facility Management Association, (BOMA) Building Owners and Managers Association, (NAIOP) National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and (IOREBA) Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association. The breadth of experience that Mr. Logan has; assists a company in the development of a comprehensive facility master plan and the overall complete project management of a project that will assist each company to achieve their short and long-term business plans, simultaneously addressing space standards, organizational working relationships, overall financial project management and the physical orchestration and coordination of the construction implementation and relocation. The types of business that Mr. Logan has assisted include: banking, engineering, internet, chemical, bio-tech, finance, insurance, legal, accounting, shipping, computer software/hardware, and real estate firms addressing executive, middle management and operational needs including computer centers, training facilities and employee amenities. Mr. Logan is also involved as president of the Board of Monmouth Hills Incorporated a private residential community, Trustee of the Foundation Board for Kean University and Trustee for the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, and Trustee of National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the former President of the Board of Directors for Stewart Franklin Owners Corporation, and former President of the Stewart Franklin Condominium Association.
