Mike Markey has joined the Colliers International Woodbridge, New Jersey office as an Executive Managing Director specializing in providing logistics and supply chain solutions and brokerage services for clients in the sale and leasing of industrial real estate in Northern/Central New Jersey. He has over 30 years of experience and training in sales and leases, market information analysis, acquisitions, and consulting in the commercial real estate industry. Mike is a member of the Colliers International Industrial Board Of Directors as well as the Colliers Logistics & Transporation Advisory Group.

BUSINESS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Mr. Markey originally joined Colliers International in 1990, where he built a strong portfolio for over 20 years, completing millions of square feet of industrial and sales transactions representing both owners and tenants. After leaving Colliers in 2010, Mr. Markey joined Jones Lang LaSalle as an Executive Vice President where he continued his success before rejoining Colliers International in March 2014.

He is currently on the Senior Counsel for the New York Tri-State area’s Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association (IOREBA) where he served as President from 2003-2004. He also earned the CoStar Power Broker Award in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Mr. Markey graduated from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA where he earned a BS in Business Administration
