Area of expertise

Thomas Romano has joined JLL a Managing Director, appointed to lead the firm’s Princeton, New Jersey office. Romano is a well-respected and accomplished executive in the Princeton office sales and leasing markets who has completed transactions totaling more than 6.1 million square feet with an aggregate value in excess of $600 million over his 28 years in the industry.

Throughout his career Romano has represented a diverse portfolio of companies including Waste Management, United Way, Northwestern Mutual Life, Gilbane, Mandelbaum & Mandelbaum, GHP Office Realty, Nexus Properties, Brandywine Realty Trust, R. Berman Development, and MLSeven, Matrix, among others.

Business and Educational Background

Prior to joining JLL, Romano was a Executive Manging Director at Colliers International and a Managing Principal at Newmark Knight Frank’s Princeton office. His career and reputation has grown steadily in the Princeton, NJ market area since he started in 1996. Prior to Newmark, Mr. Romano was a partner in the firm Buschman Partners and GVA Williams Buschman.

Mr. Romano graduated from State University of New York at Albany with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Business.
