Robert Scherreik, President of Pyramid Brokerage Company of the Hudson Valley LLC, has led its sales force and staff in the lower and mid-Hudson Valley since 2012.

For the first 25 years of his career in commercial real estate, Robert was Senior Vice President and Principal of McBride Corporate Real Estate, Inc. in Central Valley, NY. Prior to that, he was on the financial staff of General Motors Corporation. Robert is a graduate of Georgetown University, where he earned his BSFS in International Economics, and the University of Michigan where he earned an MBA.  He has earned professional designations for CCIM (Commercial Investment Institute), Active Industrial and Active Office designations from SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors), and the MCR designation (Master in Corporate Real Estate) from CORENET.

Robert is a licensed broker in New York State.  During the past five years, he brokered the sale or leasing of over 3,000,000 sq. ft. of industrial space, over 350,000 sq. ft. of office space, 1,200 apartment units, and over 2,000 acres of residential and commercial land, the aggregate value of which exceeds $750 million.

Robert’s client list has included M&T Bank, Orange & Rockland Utilities (ConEd), IBM Corporation, Community Products LLC, Watchtower Bible & Tract Society, Avery Dennison Corporation, YMCA of Greater NY, Archdiocese of New York, Leser Group Ltd., and Nexans Energy USA.                   

He has served in leadership positions in his profession and community as Chairman and Trustee, Orange County Chamber of Commerce (1990 – 2000); Vice Chairman & Trustee, Elant, Inc. Senior Care System (1994-2014); Trustee, Arden Hill Hospital (1994-2000); Committee Chairman, Boys Scouts of America Troop 388 (2013-2019); and President and Trustee, Industrial & Office Real Estate Brokers Assn. of NY Metropolitan Area (1990-1997).
