Rick is Principal at Twin Equities Group, formerly servicing over a decade at Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp. as Managing Director in a capital advisory capacity and also service as Eastern Director for Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp, overseeing the growth and development of the financing sales team, prior he served as part of the senior leadership team for Marcus & Millichap’s National Office and Industrial Properties Group (NOIPG) as well as overseeing the firms Note Advisory Services Group, and is based in Manhattan. He joined the firm in August 2013. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Lechtman served for 10 years as Managing Director for the Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group in New York City. His responsibilities included sourcing, underwriting, structuring and originating commercial real estate debt and equity. Mr. Lechtman has also held positions with CBRE (L.J. Melody & Company), J.P. Morgan and Nomura Securities Co.

During his career, he has been directly involved with more than $2.0 billion in debt and equity placements, the majority of which were secured by office and industrial assets. Mr. Lechtman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political economy from Tulane University and an advanced professional certificate in real estate from The New York University Real Estate Institute. He is also the founder and past president of NAIOP’s New York City chapter, and served as a member of NAIOP’s board of directors locally and nationally for many years.
